Grammy nominated Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has sparked reactions online after posting photos and videos from a hiking trip in Hawaii with his wife, Chioma Adeleke.

The posts came shortly after news surfaced that he is facing a N1 billion lawsuit linked to an ongoing child custody dispute.

Earlier, New Telegraph reported that Sophia Momodu, through her lawyer Egeonu Enedah, filed a N1 billion suit against the singer. The legal action is connected to a child custody battle between both parties.

Enedah, who is a partner at Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, issued a pre action notice accusing Davido of harassment, threats to life, cyberbullying, and defamation.

Despite the legal tension, Davido took to his Instagram page to share moments from his time in Hawaii. In the clips and photos, he and Chioma were seen hiking and zip lining with other adventure lovers. The couple appeared relaxed and cheerful during the outdoor activity.

According to the notice, legal proceedings would begin if Davido fails to meet a series of demands within seven days.

The development has drawn attention online, with many fans reacting to both the lawsuit and the singer’s recent vacation posts.
